Airport

The San Francisco International Airport (SFO) is located 14 miles from the hotel.

Parking

The hotel only has valet parking that is available on a first come, first serve basis with priority being given to overnight guests. Limited space available. Below are the current rates for the hotel valet parking.

Daily: $91.20 + tax.
Overnight fee: $91.20-$199.50 (over-sized vehicles) + tax. 

An alternative public parking lot is below the 7-story lot located caddy corner to the hotel: Fifth & Mission Yerba Buena Garage, 833 Mission St., San Francisco, CA, 94103.

Speaker Check-In

Be advised that FOCIS does not gather speaker presentations in advance or after the FOCIS 2024 Annual Meeting. Speakers are required to bring their presentations saved on a USB flash drive to the Speaker Ready Room located onsite at the North Registration Desk at the San Francisco Marriott Marquis. The audio-visual team will be available to assist in loading your presentation onto their laptops.

*Note: Member Society Symposia, industry tutorials, partner programs, and course speakers should not submit slides; please bring your slides directly to the session room. An AV tech will be available to assist with loading it into the MacBook laptop in the room.

Poster Size: Each poster must be no larger than 4 feet wide (horizontal) by 4 feet high (vertical).

Wi-Fi

There is free, basic Wi-Fi access in the FOCIS meeting spaces. Please limit use to online browsing and email checking; downloading and uploading files is not permitted due to bandwidth constraints.

Exhibitors

Visit the Exhibit Hall (Salon 9) to network with colleagues while hearing about the latest products to help you in your research and clinical work. All coffee breaks and poster receptions will be held in the Exhibit Hall.

Member Reception. Make plans to mingle with top immunologists on Wednesday, June 19, from 7:30 to 8:30 PM in SoMa. Expand your network while enjoying live entertainment and a hosted bar and complimentary appetizers. 

Member Lounge. FOCIS members have place to sit down, charge their devices, sip on handcrafted espresso drinks, and socialize with other members. It is open daily during FOCIS 2024 in the South Foyer.

Evaluation

During the meeting, delegates will receive emails with reminders and a link to meeting evaluations. The evaluations are linked from the mobile app as well.

Certificate of Attendance

The FOCIS 2024 Annual Meeting evaluation is available after the meeting. After completing the evaluation, you will receive a link to the attendance certificate request form. A certificate (PDF file) will be sent to you following submission. If needed, you can email info@focisnet.org to follow up on your request for a certificate of attendance.
