Learning Objectives:
Upon completion, participants will be able to explore and elucidate the mechanisms underlying antigen-specific immune responses in neurodegenerative diseases, such as Alzheimer's, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, and Parkinson's.
Upon completion, participants will be able to investigate the influence of genetic variants associated with neurodegenerative diseases on the phenotype and function of T cells, aiming to unravel the complex interplay between genetics and immune responses in the context of neurological disorders.
Upon completion, participants will be able to understand the potential for precision immunotherapies by leveraging the insights gained from characterizing adaptive immune cells in neurodegenerative diseases using human tissues.
