Nora Lakes is a second-year graduate student in the MD-PhD program at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. They completed their undergraduate studies in Medical Sciences and Mathematics at the University of Cincinnati. Currently, they are pursuing a PhD in Immunology under the mentorship of Dr. Stephen Waggoner at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. Their research seeks to develop natural killer cell-based immunotherapies for autoimmune disease and chronic viral infection.
